Sleeping Beauty is the most beautiful animated film ever made.

In my mind, it's not really up for debate. Every frame is a work of ART. The vibrant color palettes, the playful angular character design... It's all amazing. But what truly elevates it, for me, is the work of Eyvind Earle, whose complex, textured and geometric nature illustrations give a fine art depth to every scene.

This print is a (very humble!) homage to the film. My goal was to capture some of my favorite aspects of the art direction and frame them within the storybook pages from the film's opening sequence. 👑🏰💤🌳✨
